I Killed The Monster est une compilation de 11 titres  écrits par le compositeur américain Daniel Johnston, légende de la musique lo-fi, dont les albums classiques 1990 et Artistic Vice ont été produits par Kramer dans son fameux studio d'enregistrement Noise à New York et publiés sur Shimmy-Disc en 1990 et 1991. Tous les morceaux ont été remasterisés par Kramer en 2022 et seront disponibles pour la première fois en vinyle. I Killed The Monster contient  des titres  et des performances remarquables de certains des plus grands talents de la musique indépendante, notamment Danielson & Sufjan Stevens, Kimya Dawson, Dot Allison, Mike Watt, Jad Fair et Jeffrey Lewis. Kramer a produit et mixé la plupart des chansons de l'album, et il livre lui-même l’une des performances les plus saisissantes de cet album,  le grand chef-d'œuvre de Daniel, "Bloody Rainbow". Peu d'artistes sont allés là où Kramer est allé, ou ont travaillé avec une telle variété d'artistes (Ween, Butthole Surfers, John Zorn, Half Japanese, The Fugs, et Bongwater, et Will Oldham, pour n'en citer que quelques-uns). This book would be helpful to office managers who are overseeing small self-managed projects. There is heavy emphasis on people management and almost none on any practical project management techniques. It gave me flashbacks of a couple of project managers I've worked with who were completely useless and left the team to pick up their slack; the kind that talk endlessly without saying anything meaningful and struggle with the basics, like scheduling a meeting. I'm giving it 2 stars because it takes quite a bit of time and effort to publish a book.

I am a YouTube follower of the authors book, and I purchased her book to take advantage of her real life experiences of flipping over 30 + houses. Because I had already purchased my first house I focused on Part 2 to help me organize my renovation, and revaluate my approach. The book is well written, reading flows, the notes, graphics that call out important details are well place, the models to follow are super useful and the resources are endless. There is an online digital resource that is extremely helpful too. There is so much in this book. I will come back and update as I get through it, but I can say this is an excellent purchase already well worth the money spent. I watch her YouTube channel, and review the online resources regularly, and carry this book with me as I am doing the work as I work, so taking all my spare time to study and review. Part 2 is where I am focus now since I am starting my renovation. I am doing a "cosmetic" renovation, and her advice about where to focus my budget has helped me decide where to start, what to buy (study comps online - I personally like Redfin, but Zillow too) and I already have a realtor I am working with, and was recommended a contractor by my agent. So - off to the races. It is a downturn market so I am taking my first flip slow, but in a few months I will update my review. I highly recommend buying the book, it is like an idiots guide to house flipping, but better....you have her YouTube channel, and the online resources too! Enjoy!!
